Supporting Your Success

My passion is helping individuals and groups achieve goals they never thought possible:

  • A person who takes on a new job about which they are not fully confident getting the right support to exceed expectations.

  • A team who are lost and dysfunctional being able to make the adjustments needed to create and achieve great things together.

  • An organisation that wants to bring about a fundamental change getting everyone aligned and motivated behind the new way forward.

  • A leader who has struggled with their approach to leadership finding new ways, winning the hearts and minds of their team.

  • A conflict that appears unresolvable being mended through careful dialogue and emotional repair.

  • An individual who has reached a low point in life from which they see no way up, finding ways to rebuild their life one step at a time.

Using more than 20 years of experience, skills, tools and techniques I have the ability to support almost any situation and facilitate a positive outcome.

Define Your Leadership

The keys to successful leadership are authenticity, adaptability and a high level of consciousness in understanding yourself and others. There is no magic formula to turn a person into an excellent leader. It is about getting clear about your values and how you want to be defined and remembered as a leader, then aligning every encounter and decision with that picture.

It takes stamina and bravery to work towards becoming the best possible version of ourselves as leaders. I am proud to say that several of my clients have won awards for inspiring leadership or had exceptional co-worker feedback about the quality of their leadership skills.

Develop Your People

Organisations often say their people are their greatest asset, but this is not always followed through with the appreciation, development and support people need.

Working in increasingly complex organisations with a rapid pace of change, multi-cultural teams, and the need to navigate and prioritise huge amounts of information is a human challenge which needs to be acknowledged by company leaders.

Taking some time out to develop individuals and teams will ensure each member of an organisation is motivated, loyal and performing at their best.

Proven Methods

Having a variety of tools, techniques, methods, and models from which to choose, depending upon the needs of the client, is an important part of what I offer. That said, my greatest asset is the long experience of working in real situations with actual people. Here are some of the methods I apply:

Myers Briggs Type Indicator

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is an instrument that provides valuable information for individuals regarding their personal communication and decision-making style. It describes different personal preferences and, by understanding those, individuals can better see how others function. This is particularly useful in communication training, team working, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution. The tool does not measure competence, skills, intelligence, or mental health. Instead it helps people understand from where they get energy and creativity, how they prefer to take in information (and therefore how they tend to give out information) how they evaluate situations and how they structure their thoughts. At Level 2 the feedback breaks down the results to show specific areas where a person is working in or outside their natural preferences.

PRISM

The PRISM tool gets its name from the transparent shape used in the model and is a tried and trusted method for enhancing communication. It takes an individual or group through the process of identifying the purpose of a piece of communication, whether it be from one person to a group or a group to other groups. Once the purpose is fully defined, the tool requires careful thinking about who the receiver (or receiver group) will be, how best to reach them, how to plan the process of reaching them, then getting clear and precise about the messages that need to be delivered.

Juggling for Life

Juggling for Life is a tool for coaching individuals and groups. It has been developed through years of working as a coach, trainer, and facilitator with clients from all walks of life and at all levels in society and organisations. The Juggling for Life process will help a person identify what they are dealing with, separate their feelings about an issue from the facts, get clear about the real challenges, find the stress moments and patterns, prioritise and get closure through actions. In a group context the Juggling for Life methodology facilitates alignment around defining the problems to be solved, puts the necessary time into the stakeholder management part of the process, which in turn leads to faster and more effective task delivery through commonly agreed actions.
